Gripes aside, I loved Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.I commend Atlus for releasing a fighting game as the sequel to what I consider to be its best Persona game ever, with tight controls, neat visuals, and most importantly, a fantastic story that will please each and every single Persona fan out there, be them fighting game fans or others. A new program, a fighting tournament called the P-1 Grand Prix, begins to air on the Midnight Channel, and members of the Investigation Team start to disappear one by one. Here’s the blurb for the original Persona 4 Arena story : “Two months after the events of Persona 4, a sense of terror runs through Inaba once more. The Steam version will also be bundled in a Midnight Channel Collection, which includes this game and Persona 4 Golden. This new version includes everything that did, including the entire original Persona 4 Arena story. The game originally started off in the arcades in 2013, before a PS3 and Xbox 360 release a year later. Over the past day, the game page has gone live on Nintendo's Japanese website. Basically, it’s an excuse to get loads of Persona 4 and Persona 3 characters together for a big ol’ throwdown. Believe it or not but the Atlus' fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is out on Nintendo Switch in just a few weeks. It features the cast fighting a mysterious army of Shadows in something called the P-1 Climax. ![]() ![]() The beat-em-up is a follow-up to Persona 4 Arena, which itself was a sequel to Persona 4 Golden. 2D fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will get a new lease of life this March, when the spin-off arrives on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. ![]()
